Another Year Passed: What lessons and standout moments have we had? Let’s take a moment to reflect.
PROUD
- My kids – they are growing into amazing humans who impress me all the time. While I feel I mess up constantly as a parent, I must still be doing alright.
- House Resets – This year’s win was getting down a flow to resetting/cleaning up the house, which due to some executive functioning struggles has not been the easiest for me… but I’m doing it!
CHALLENGE
- Discovering who I am again and that well, I EXIST for a purpose besides meeting needs of others. Being a mother makes it easy to lose yourself because you put yourself aside as needed for your kids. Not saying you should do that but it’s common occurrence.
GOALS
- Be more intentional along with copious amounts of grace. From decisions like picking the food to nourish mine and my family’s bodies, how I spend my free time, the material items (or lack of) around me, and even the thoughts that swim in my brain that I give my attention to.
- Less screens, more doing hands on things. Technology is mind-blowing with everything it can do, but just because we CAN does not mean we should. Balance in all things and quality time over ‘wasting’ time.

Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.

As my kids enter the tween-teen phases, time passes so quickly I’m always shocked on how grown we are and how very far we’ve come over the years. I’m grateful for another year and just hoping for the best for all to come in 2025.
